GELCOAT REJUVENATION

Gelcoat Rejuvenation is a precise and timely process to safely eliminate an estimated percentage of paint defects. Some of the most common paint defects are oxidation, swirls, scratches, water spots, fading, and marring.

Choose between Single Stage and Multiple Stages of Gelcoat Rejuvenation to remove the desired percentage of paint defects based on the current condition of watercraft, client’s expectations and budget.

If not followed with a Paint Protection Level to lock in end results, it is highly common for paint defects to reoccur since there is no barrier between the paint and environmental contaminants.

Single Stage

Whether a daily Fisherman, Jet Ski enthusiast, or a weekender just hitting the lake with family, this entry level to Gelcoat Rejuvenation is the answer to bringing back that superior shine. Even though considered an entry level in the marine industry, achieving night and day results are guaranteed.

During this Single Stage we pair an adequate Cleaner/Polish and cutting application pad to remove light to moderate oxidation. This process is expected to remove within 30%-60% of paint defects.

Multi-Stage

This Stage is recommended for those wanting to stand out from the competition, or the “boat show” fanatic who wants nothing less than a crowd catching mirror reflection.

Our Multi-Stage is significantly the highest level of Gelcoat Rejuvenation available. This Stage consist of using two different types of products separate for one another, repeating the cutting process twice with a Dual Action Polisher. Starting with an abrasive Compound is the key at cutting away heavy oxidation. After compounding, the same leveling process is repeated with a Polish that will minimize the remaining paint defects. This process will remove 70%-95% of paint defects leaving a perfected, flawless shine.
